As always, we try and resolve to keep more up to date with blogs every year. So, writing our first blog in February isn't too bad....
In early January, we celebrated 8 years of marriage, which is really exciting - can't believe how time flies and all the cool things we have done in that time. We celebrated with a lovely long lunch together while one of Dan's colleagues babysat for us - yay! Speaking of babysitting... our baby is now nearly 1! This time last year we were going to antenatal classes and now we are planning first birthday celebrations for March!
Also in January, Susanna celebrated her birthday. It fell on Auckland Anniversary Weekend, bank holiday Monday, which meant we got a long weekend and a chance to visit family in Hamilton. On Sunday, we went over to Raglan beach, on the West Coast, and on Monday, had a nice family lunch.
